Photographed March 28.

Also known as Myrtle or Cemetery Vine, among other names. An escape from gardens, this ground cover is now common in the wild around Pittsburgh. It is one of our earliest spring flowers, and it makes a cheerful sight in late March before the big wildflower show begins.
